Rescue Diver

Once you have the basics and you’ve explored some specialized diving activities, you are ready to take the next step and become a PADI Rescue Diver. This program makes the subject of accident prevention and management interesting, challenging and extremely rewarding. The Rescue Diver course is perfect for any diver who plans to dive with family members or friends or those that want to sharpen their dive skills and help other divers.

The Rescue Diver certification is also a prerequisite to achieve the Master Scuba Diver rating as well as for all leadership and professional level training such as Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Instructor.

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you’ll need to have your Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent. Prior to certification, Rescue Divers must have completed an approved CPR and First Aid course such as our Emergency First Response class. We strongly suggest completing an Oxygen Provider course as well.

Rescue Diver Fun

The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.
