Would you know what to do if there were an emergency?
The Emergency First Response (EFR) Course teaches you how to provide emergency care for someone in need. We provide First Aid, CPR, and Automatic External Defibrillator Training in a non-stressful environment designed to help you remember and apply emergency care procedures. The course includes knowledge development, skill development, and scenario practice for divers as well as non-divers.
At the completion of the course you will feel confident in your abilities to assist someone in need of emergency care. First Aid and CPR training is required for other PADI certifications including Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor and Master Scuba Diver.
Emergency Oxygen Provider
Course fee is $95. This PADI Specialty can be applied toward your Master Scuba Diver rating.
While diving emergencies are extremely rare, the proper procedure for handling them always includes supplying the patient with oxygen. This course will familiarize you with the different types of oxygen delivery systems and give you the skills necessary to assist an injured diver. Knowing what to do in an emergency can make a difference.
