Would you know what to do if there were an emergency?
The Emergency First Response (EFR) Course teaches you how to
provide emergency care for someone in need.
We provide First Aid, CPR, and Automatic External Defibrillator
Training in a non-stressful environment designed to help
you remember and apply emergency care procedures.
The course includes knowledge development,
skill development, and scenario practice for divers as well as non-divers.
At the completion of the course you will feel
confident in your abilities to assist someone in need of emergency care.
First Aid and CPR training is required for
other PADI certifications including Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Assistant
Instructor, Instructor and Master Scuba Diver.

Open to divers as well as non-divers. The minimum age is based on parent and instructor discretion. |

While diving emergencies are extremely rare, the proper
procedure for handling them always includes supplying the patient with
oxygen. This course will familiarize you
with the different types of oxygen delivery systems and give you the skills
necessary to assist an injured diver.
Knowing what to do in an emergency can make a difference.

Serious hazardous marine life injuries are rare, but most divers experience
minor discomfort from unintentional encounters with fire coral,
jellyfish and other marine creatures. This course teaches divers to
minimize these injuries and reduce diver discomfort and pain.
The First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries program is designed
to provide knowledge regarding specific types of marine creature
injuries and the general first aid treatment for those injuries.
